LO4 Conventions of a pre production documentation wireframe

Identify three elements of a wire frame. Explain why each is necessary.

When annotating images and planning your website you need to describe shot type for images and to go into detail, the same is with the placement of it and what is around it.

Sky sports

As soon as you open the website this big box grabs your attention due to the big wide angle shot used of the two people, and the yellow colour used to gravitate your eyes towards the writing. Also a feature within this website is that when your cursor hovers this section it pop ups towards you to make it easier to read and understand. It uses a big bold title as so you know this is what to read first while the less useful information is below that. The overall background is a simple grey and most of the information is tightly pack ached in the middle.

Through looking at each box you are able to deduct that the first one is the most important topic for today as they present it as bigger than the others and because of the use eye catching colours and images that want us to look at this one first.

The banner for the website is very basic and doesn't try to change this up, This could be because they wanted to keep it safe and not deviate from a working formula, as you have a search bar for specific content you would want tot find. Hence right next to that is the log in and a link to get the sky sports app. These are placed her as so they can get more people to sign up when they want to search for something or have already searched stuff, as after this they would be more included to sign up for more personalised content. 

Due to this website being English, it is dominated by football news. This is because it is the UKs most popular sport and so more people would want to hear news about that. So to cover for this they filled most of their news space with football news. 

As you can see while the three below are filled with other sports, the top three are filled with only football news. This is so they appeal to the targeted audience which is mostly football fans. 

At the bottom of the page they have some simple information about SKY and they also have their social media credentials and links to their other websites encase you were interested in SKYs other websites or programmes.
